Many people think they can simply cross out or handwrite changes on their will when circumstances change. However, doing so not only fails to make the changes valid, but can also invalidate the entire will.
Problem Analysis
不会产生法律效力;
反而可能导致法院认定整个文件无效;
Wills and trusts must be modified in compliance with strict legal requirements. Making handwritten edits or crossing out words:
Does not have legal effect;
Can result in the court declaring the entire document invalid;
Creates potential disputes among heirs.
Solutions
联系律师;
通过法律认可的形式签署新的遗嘱或修正文件(codicil/amendment);
To make changes to a will or trust, the proper approach is to:
Consult with an attorney;
Sign a new will or an amendment (codicil/amendment) that complies with the law;
Ensure proper witnessing, execution, and record-keeping.

如果是散页(loose leaf),法院可能怀疑有人私自替换页面;
Another important point concerns the binding of wills. In New York and New Jersey, wills must remain stapled together, and usually only one original exists:
Loose-leaf wills raise suspicion that pages were altered;
Removing staples or inserting/removing pages can invalidate the will.
